Olsen....

We were very lucky to get Olsen. Man is awsome probably going to be the best pickup we ever done.

Someone needs to pick up an English book.

Kidding.

But to those of you saying how dumb the Bears are, please keep in mind they were in the NFC Championship game last season, and we were home playing with our thumbs.

That kind of TE does not fit into the Martz system. No big deal, the FO thought that the Martz system was more vital than Olsen.....great for the Panthers.

Think about the Brees/San Diego situation. They wanted the O that we are now installing here more so than a short passing O that Brees excelled at. He was expendable.

atleast we got something out of chicago for once, as opposed to getting bent over for Julius peppers and Chris Harris. I will never understand how we gave up Chris Harris

How did we get bent over w peppers? If anything they saved us from overpaying his goofy ass again.

When he was standing at midfield an hour before the game, a bunch of drunks kept saying "Thar's Jermy Shockey!"

I wanted to correct them, but I couldn't speak stupid drunk enough to get the point across.

Those same guys probably cussed Delhomme when Clausen threw his pick 6 and were wondering why Stephen Davis wasn't playing.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
