Ever get the feeling it just not worth it?

Almost every day. I work with some pathetic ass kissers who manufacture more drama than Lifetime. I am 34 and have almost two years left to get my bachelors. I have a teenaged daughter and aged inlaws who always need something. I try to keep everything in perspective as I burn the candle at both ends. Find reasons to laugh. Even if they don't make sense to others. Get a dog. There is nothing I have found in the world (besides the antics of a happy toddler) that can make a rotten day feel better. Just fix what you can, shrug off what you can't, and get a dog.

I'm liking the good replies, was afraid of trolls haha. I've been working on turning things around and to depend on myself, but at the same time it been so hard. You have to fight for anything good, but if you stand by for sure something will bring you down. That's life.

I used to be 240 pounds. and complain about being fat. My girl friend of four years left me and ended up with my roommate who had been my best friend for the last 7 years. Left that environment, but then ended up in a house of drama with 4 other people (one of which had two kids). A couple of people were on heroin, so I got introduced to the ugly society. Almost lost two friends to overdose. Eventually left that to go back with my parents who just want me to go through schooling. No problem now lol. I've picked up a very healthy diet and work out often. I weigh 170 now. Just gotta keep fighting.

you need to focus on where you've come from, dropping to 170lbs should be a daily reminder, you live with it every second of the day.. after a while you should feel the momentum pushing you instead of fighting everything. keep your head up.. oh, and millions of fish in the sea.. I mean, they are literally everywhere.

I say don't ever get married, but I can see it... but ONLY if you are 150% sure that the person you are marrying is your soul mate. Not just think that they are, but know that they are... then and only then is it OK.
