Getting Liquor on a Cruise Ship

Best way is to buy Rum Runners and put them in you shoes in your checked baggage. They are non-metallic and aren't shaped like a bottle. Bags are scanned, and they will open them and confiscate anything against the rules.

We just went on Carnival Fantasy out of Charleston, SC, and they opened our 12 packs of soda and checked ever can. They also checked bottled water by shaking it.

Some friends did this: you can buy bags that are very thin and will hold a full fifth. I think one size does half gallon. They are designed to be rolled up in a towel. They were told the cruise ship will xray bags and spot shampoo bottles etc and make you open them.

Edit BMorgan beat me to it. Rum Runners, thats what they were called.

I've heard of a LOT of people getting caught doing the mouthwash thing. The rum runners is a better way to go from what I've been told

sometimes they will allow a bottle of wine, so make sure to fill that up with whatever you like as well

    • If he was betting on other sports (hell, even other teams) I don't think he gets the blowback it got him. Making quite a large number of bets on team total unders and his individual prop unders is about as bad as it gets. Like honestly, the NFL/owners would rather you be a murderer or rapist than be betting unders on your own individual props... I still didn't see the talent to warrant a 1st round pick without the gambling scandal. With it, I think he might be a 4th or 5th rounder and would not be shocked if he is just straight blackballed by NFL organizations
    • I'm more curious if he can recover from his injury and still be a starting caliber olineman
    • Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
