Thanks TRD!

I think you do a very good job.

I also think other mods do a good job most of the time. Sometimes they lose their head and become a regular poster again, breaking the very rules they are challenged with enforcing.

They let their bias get in the way of their duty. I've been singled out by mods because my opinion is different than the average and they say that's what I get for having a different opinion. They admit others broke the rules and I didn't but let it slide because it's me.

They do not enforce, let alone follow, the rules of this board and if I am mod, I would do my best to enforce the rules justly with no prejudice.

Oh wee mayne... that's some funny poo there.

You can't participate in a discussion without showing extreme prejudice and turning it into an argument, and you expect people to believe you will "enforce the rules" with no prejudice?

I'm sorry you feel that posting my opinions is showing "extreme prejudice" but I don't feel that I turn everything into an argument.

:smilielol5:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sharing it repeatedly, ad nauseum, is obnoxious, annoying and trollish.

Personally, I think you know exactly what you're doing, and find it a funny little sociopathic game.

No, I'm not saying it's okay. I'm saying I made a mistake and was punished. It's also irrelevant to bring up when you make a mistake that goes unpunished. If you are trying to draw a comparison, then you should first be punished for your comments then we can talk.

The second part in no way reflects how I will mod. It goes back to my earlier point that the mods set bad examples for the posters on this board. They do not enforce, let alone follow, the rules of this board and if I am mod, I would do my best to enforce the rules justly with no prejudice.

I could tell how remorseful you were for your punishment when you posted this in your own infraction thread over the comment.

Can we all agree he is pretty worthless though?

Notice he has not posted in that thread after he embarrassed himself

How can we make a guy a mod who won't even learn from or be remorseful for his own mistakes even while he is actually being punished?? :nonod:

Is that the just and unprejudiced that you are referring to??

Those were facts at the time.

You've evolved and actually learned about the Panthers increasing your ability to post here at the Huddle. You only had the ability to post about Cam and some pictures you found while "playing online poker" which by definition was pretty worthless to the Huddle because you guys were a dime a dozen, still are. Since you expanded your knowledge on the Panthers, you've become more valuable.

You had not gone back to the thread after I proved you wrong.

Most adults when proven wrong, like how you were proven wrong by the entire Panther's front office on Cam Newton being worth the #1 pick overall, don't go back to their folly and continue arguing the point.

Him being taken #1 doesn't mean he was worth the #1 overall pick.

Only time will tell.

Yes, I'm sure every FO who had a #1 pick bust feels like they were "proven wrong" in their decision making process.

This might be too adult to get, but sometimes decisions can be made correctly given the information and situations at hand, but have unexpected or undesired results because of uncontrollable or unknown factors.

Oh... and what you're doing in your replies... that's kind of the reverse of the point I'm making about not arguing when you're wrong.

    • This play was never designed to go to either DJ or Odunze. The primary read is Burden who is stymied early, with the outlet being Kmet if Caleb doesn't like the option for Burden. Given the situation it's pretty obvious the simple play is to take the free yards with Kmet, or if you want to be aggressive just wait a beat longer for Burden to uncover on his double move. If Moore was ever going to be a viable target in this play then Caleb should have started out reading Odunze to hold the safety in the middle and then coming to Moore, but because he started the snap staring down the right and then came back to the middle late it made it where the safety's leverage remained to the outside of Moore, so he would never have imagined that pass actually being thrown to him in that situation. Realistically DJ's best option in that context is to just occupy the safety to leave a hole open for Caleb to get it to Burden, which is probably why he throttles down vs carrying the safety across.
    • Even with Sonny Styles still on the board I thought it's a no brainer to address the Oline after Icky's injury.  And how can you pass up Fano at 19 given our situation. Then the rest of the draft just kind of made sense with maybe the exception of Klubnik.  But if Canales can fix him and Young goes down. . .I think it's a solid pick. What do you think of this draft?
