Beason Situation "Dire"...

I was completely unaware that achilles ruptures were considered career ending now? I mean, they're serious, but I was always under the assumption that you could come back from them relatively close to where you were.

They take a long time to heal from and normally a full year. It is tendon, not a muscle and blood supply isn't as great. I hope it's not a full rupture, a tear isn't great but his recovery will be better and swifter depending on the degree of a tear.

The way he collapsed when King scored wasn't a great sign. i hope it was not as bad as it looked.

Shouldnt have rushed him back, now some of the talk about career is scaring me. Im not a docotor so I dont know, can you come back from achilles tears and be at the level you were, does it depend on the degree of the tear? I mean I know Kemo tore his and wasnt the same, but he was older and fat.

Posted that in another thread. While almost 2/3 of those athletes made it back playing level/time sees a drop off. So it's not really will he make it back (if it's even a rupture) it's will he be the same player. Either way my money is on the BEAST....

Based on the injury previous you would assume its ruptured and its COMPLETELY on the training staff. In high school I strained some stuff in my hip. I was told rest a few weeks and you'll be fine. I felt 100% which im sure Beason did, then running down the field completely alone stepped wrong and basically destroyed all the tissue in my hip. Some one should have held him out and they should lose their job

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
