Another Cam thread, but....

I was really impressed how he ran the two-minute offense, twice.

On the road in a loud stadium, tied once and down once, Cam leads the team the length of the field. One TD drive, and one just short.

We all kind of took it for granted, but this is the stuff of pro-bowl veteran QBs.

He was calm, cool, and focused, and the moment definitely was not too big for him. He even made the savvy play of quick snapping the Cards and making the 27 yarder to Lafell.

Just as much credit goes to Rivera for believing in him.

I told everyone a million times... His ability to run makes a huge difference. He can make so much happen just by avoiding the first defender.

And for all the sh*t everyone talked about him for the low completion % from preseason, what so many "haters" forgot, is the kid is a rookie and hadn't thrown a pick. That shows composure. Look at his face before the snap. Composed. He was in control of the situation and didn't let the situation control him.

I wasn't surprised at all and this is exactly what I expected. (Maybe not 400+, but definitely expected a good-great game, and many more to come )

Cam was really good. He overpassed my expectations in the first quarter. He playes as if he was a seasoned veteran. I was really impressed an to actually have a potential great qb is exciting. Alyhough we lost i am excited, not only bc of CAM but i also liked how the recievers played except for naanee. And our d line had better pressure. And once again cam looked great

Also another thing to add (so I don't waste bandwidth) was the look on his face in the closing minutes of the game. The dude was beyond pissed, and that shows the sign of a champion, and a competitor.

I expect nothing but good things out of Cam in the future.

They say the thing that pushes Brady and Manning (when healthy) past all the other great QBs to the elite level, is the competitive fire. It can't be taught.

I love this about Cam. He looked like he actually was tearing up and didn't want to listen to what anyone had to say. We're in good hands for the next 10+ years. Cam is the truth.

    • We have taken two TEs in three seasons I think, and Sanders may not pan out or it may have been a sophomore slump, but we took a guy last year that was coming on.  I am not in favor of TE in round one and really don’t consider it a high priority in any round.
    • Trevon Moehrig, Turk Wharton, Bobby Brown, Jaelen Phillips, Devin Lloyd, Nic Scourton Giving him 6 starters in 2 offseasons that cost boat loads of money or a 2nd round pick... Not exactly handing the man scraps. The point of the draft is to make the team better. You want to make this about Bryce. It isn't. It's about improving the team. And if anyone can look at our offense and go "we're good", they are lying to themselves. You give quarterbacks weapons. We SCREAMED for YEARS to give Cam some help. But now because we are trying to do it for Bryce, you all are saying we are coddling him because of his "deficiencies". It's a double-standard because you don't like the guy, clearly. But even if he does fail, guess what? The next guy has help too. Win-win.
    • we have 2 solid/above average (however you want to phrase that) wr's, which is more than half the league at least.  We dont need to be blowing more first round capital just to placate Bryce and his limitations.   We have one absolute stud (probably top 10 wr) in tmac and we have a high floor guy with insane potential if he can stay healthy.  Yeah man we are in better shape than the bulk of the teams in the league.  If you need to add some speed or whatever, sure draft in the mid rounds or wait until tc cuts.  Its monumentally stupid to spend 3 straight firsts on a wr if thats the route they go.  ITs just more and more excuses for Bryce, thats where we are at now.    "How can bryce succeed without a big possession type wr (drafts 2 for him), how is bryce supposed to exceed without a speed guy......."   Its fuging never ending.  Give EE some goddamn help on defense for once
