For me, it was the play were Cam was pressured up the middle, rolled to his left to evade the pressure, and threw a bullet down field to LaFell for a 1st down.

Well executed in that Cam saw the pressure, moved away from it, threw with perfect (and difficult, for a right-hander) technique rolling to his left, and with velocity. On the other end of the play, LaFell did a great job changing his pattern to give Cam a target and made a great catch at the sideline.

Probably his best pass of the day. I was just glad we took a shot instead of just settling for a field goal.

This is my first post after lurking for years. It was the beautiful pass Cam threw into the endzone to Smitty.

Cam's Superman leap into the endzone. That's when I was like, "Okay....this guy has officially arrived as a NFL superstar"

Smitty's 2nd TD was a thing of beauty. Great ball placement in stride.. easily the best throw of the day.

Gotta agree on the second TD to Smitty. I have been hoping that Newton could find Smitty and do exactly what he did. It not only was fantastic to see, but was hopefully a portend of things to come. Newton is like Jake on steroids. He has all the good qualities of leadership and poise that Jake had plus he has the physical skills that Jake didn't have. If things go well between the two of them, it might keep Smitty in the league for several years.
