How to spot a hater - Rule #1

The guy talking about Cam starts off by giving a modicum of credit to Cam, but then elaborates on giving credit to the coaching staff for Newton's record breaking performance.

Why? Because Cam Newton had amazing stats at Auburn before he ever met Ron Rivera, spent his own time and money getting prepared in the off season for the NFL, and was the one to execute. The coaches deserve a smidge of credit for helping Cam along, and never mind that we still lost.

Will this be a close game? Hard to say right now until the game is played. Reality is GB will give us a run for our money. If our Offense plays good and keep our D off the field alot then we have a chance. But if our offense fails to keep drives alive then after the first 2 serias our D will start getting tired and winded and then Rogers starts picking them apart. Bottomline our offense is the key to winning this game. It's going to be a long Sunday afternoon that is for sure.

I seriously don't know why these elite media folks hate Cam so much. They want to discredit everything he does and give all of his accompishment to someone else. I don't imagine that will ever happen to Andrew Luck since they all pretty much has christianed him the new KING of the NFL based on the same thing they are so arrogantly dismissing Cam for.

There is something all levels of condescending and dismissive about the way these folks treat Cam. As if no matter what he does, they are going to spin everything to suit their agenda instead of the reality.

The Panthers will WIN...If u don't believe ur team have a chance, then why the hell should anyone else.. Anyone can make empty predictions. The same negative predictions were made against the Jets and when they went out and won, the same "know it alls" would act like it didn't matter.

There is no real reason why the Panthers cannot win unless the team badly sucks...And outside of the letdown by the defense, I didn't see the team playing so bad that they cannot give their opponents a run for their money.

    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
    • Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
