"I want it right now and I'm gonna get it right now"

Just heard that from Cam Newton on ESPN in his post game presser. Love it. Prior to that, he said, "I'm not the type of guy to sit up here and say 'we'll get it next time'. That's not me."

That is the attitude you want out of your QB.

Also, Rivera had some encouraging words. "As Cam progresses, we progress. I've said before, I'm married to the situation. And I think it's a good situation."

Boys...next week might be ugly. Got a feeling we're going to bring it big time, possibly even more than we did today.

EDIT: And ESPN is slurping on Cam right now. Said we'll be blowing up the league sooner than later.

Honestly I could see this when we fell behind. He seemed to be forcing it a bit, and wanting to tie it up all on that one play, when he threw a bomb to Naanee.

Gotta love the guy, but he needs to settle down, and take it easy. 10 yards at a time Cam. You will get your W. Relax.

This is why I believed we could beat Green Bay. It's become clear that this is the type of guy he is. Stats, fame, status don't scare him. He never doubted himself from the start of the game. We may as well just have been playing the Jags, which we will next week. He thinks we can beat them all, no matter who they are.

I see him as the type of guy, if when we face Brady, he wants to beat Brady. That's just the type of competitor he is. Time to get behind him!

Ladies and gentlemen, this ride is gonna be EPIC! I don't know how many wins the Panthers will get this year, but this train is just leaving the station right now. Just wait til this coaching staff has had enough time to build a better team around Cam. Atlanta, New Orleans, and Tampa better get their licks in while they still can.

That's the beautiful thing. We may not win a lot of games this year, but we can absolutely contend for the division this year. With Cam and the offense doing what they're doing, the other 3 teams have to be feeling the pressure to get wins while they can. I can't see us doing worse than splitting with all 3 of them.

We have got to commit to running the ball next week. Don't make Cam carry this team. the running game is just like the passing game...You have to get in a rhythm..Let's see if we have a turnoverless game next week with two hundred yards back, and only make Cam throw it, say, 23 times? And more importantly...the win. We need that bad.

Have to get the run game *established as more than just a threat*

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
