Vote Cam for Rookie of the Week (again)

IMO, the constant talking about Cam is doing exactly what the media wants, creating a level of hate towards Cam that will make it okay for folks to treat him however they want.

And by the way, didn't Cam at least 2 TDs this week, why isn't he getting credit for them? Why only 1?

maybe you need to read it again?

At the top it says "2 Total TDs"

and the bottom:

Newton threw for 432 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions, and had 10 carries for 53 yards and one score in the Panthers' 30-23 loss to the Green Bay Packers. With his effort, Newton became the first quarterback to start his career with consecutive 400-yard games.

In all honesty, Cam's performance wasn't as great as last weeks. Just saying. Last week he was robbed. This week, meh.

He played against the 2010 Superbowl Camps his second week as a rookie.

U really believe if Andy Dalton did what Cam did against GBP, his 3 interception would even be mentioned much.

Cam is truly becoming the "Tiger Woods" of the NFL and not in a good way.

Someone please tell me why the attitude and tone towards Cam is so different than that of the other rookie QBs? And I don't mean different in a good way.

I already voted 10 times dude... Not going to spend my whole day voting. Why don't you do that?

Also, he had 3 INT's. Last week he had 1.

I wasn't going to post in here but seeing how you called me out i thought i'd clue you in. 1) I'm not a Moore fan. I don't know where you people get your info from but please try to know who or what your're talking about. 2) I didn't vote for Dalton this week or Cam or any other player who's team came up short. That's right, I voted Foster.

And to all the misinformed race baiters out there with your back handed remarks.. The two people i voted for just happen to be black so get your heads out of your asses before you come at me.

Good Day :)

While we're on the subject of getting your info correct and knowing what you're talking about, when I said "Moore" I meant Denarius Moore of the Raiders, who is up for the award as well. Before you come at me with a passive-aggressive response, check the ballot.

Oh, and 1 sack and a FF. Sooooooo much more impressive than 432 yards.

Last year, the #1 pick threw 3 interceptions in his first game.

The year before that, the #1 pick threw 3 interceptions in his first game.

Just weird that you expect "perfection" from Cam Newton when literally no other player in NFL history has performed to perfection.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
    • Totally possible imo, I also caught that snippet from Morgan where he said “If” we sign him. The lack of competition says otherwise tho 🤷‍♂️
