I think his comments are being misinterpreted as a shot at Chud or at Chud's calls. The way I read it is you'd like to be able to run it just as much as you pass in that area, and him saying that he doesn't fell Chud is trusting them is his justification for the obviously pass heavy play calling in general.

Newsflash: This isn't Foxball Gross, obviously if the run game was ACTUALLY working and offensive line did a better job blocking we would have ran more.

Thanks for clearing that up, because Gross barely touched the guy he was blocking. Didn't notice Kalil on the play once they called Gross' number.

I know Gross certainly didn't hold anyone on that call, he barely touched his guy. Didn't have too, the guy over pursued and took himself out of the play. I didn't notice Kalil do it, but I wasn't watching him.

I wish I had looked at it again, live I couldn't see any holding.

There have been many opportunities for our o-line to run block but they are not performing. Personally I think Gross has lost a step which happens over time to all players but we have not really upgraded our line with a high caliber player since Otah and he can't stay healthy. We can't keep ignoring the offensive line and expect to dominate the run game. They have been average in pass protection but nothing special. We really should have spent some money upgrading the o-line this year.
