Is DWill healthy?

I was thinking something was up with him week 1. He really didn't look as explosive as usual, not talking about how he got met in the backfield by the other team. He just looked like he lost more than a couple steps to Stewart is all. Still believe when both D-Will and Stew are both 100%, D-Will is the best back we got!

What year is it? Thats a fantasy website making poo up because hes not doing well enough to on there fantasy teams

I don't care about fantasy....the last time he put in the work to be worth the money he was paid was in Nov of 2009. That means something outside the fantasy world.

Last year was the only year where injury was a concern. You can look at his age, sure. But don't point to his injuries, that's not accurate.

Only reason we had 2 RBs do the record breaking thing was b/c of Williams' injury in 2009.

He missed 3 full games....went down the week prior in a game. That is practically 1/4 of a season.

And yet he was still a Pro Bowler.

I know how to do math, but come on man 13 games out 16 is not something I'd be concerned about. It's not like he was riddled with injuries throughout the year that hampered his play. Last year was a year in which he couldn't overcome the injury and he had to be put on the IR.

Pro Bowl means nothing.

Williams' Pro Bowl caliber year....he didn't make it. In 2009 he made the Pro Bowl b/c of what he did in 2008 and a couple games in 2009.

He didn't play a full 13 games in 2009. We aren't just talking about 2009. We are talking about where that season ended....and what he followed it up with in 2010.....his age, our depth, and direction all factoring in.

It means something when he was injured for "1/4 of the season"

Plus his injury in 2009 doesn't correlate with his injury last year. I agree with you that age is a factor. When I made that thread yesterday I stated that our money could have been used wisely elsewhere. But not because of his talent or injuries but rather the offense.
