What do you attribute to Cams shaky start today...

He's a rookie first off. Also though the Jags had more film on him Though I didnt think it was so much their D tha he was just off, every QBs has those days. Not sure the ankle was bothering him at all. Though he was really off early he had a few that were bad drops in 2nd qtr then the rain.

His foot...? Seriously.. you can't be serious.

I agree. There was nothing that wrong with his foot to explain such off the mark throws. QB's playing in boots are more accurate than this.

I think you gotta give some credit to his critics about his accuracy here. It's still up and down it seems, and honestly I'm thinking it was a mental thing. Pressure got to him.

I think he just went back to throwing off his backfoot, and arching his back, not because his foot hurts, but because that's always been his issues. He went back to bad habits and mechanics he needs to work on.

Although you also have to wonder how much the rain affected his vision considering he was wearing a visor.

Cam's foot is why I think he was inaccurate today, but we kept calling pass plays down the field when Cam was struggling instead of more screens or short passes or more runs. So yes play calling had it's share in why Cam struggled.

You don't know anything about Cam's foot and it's lingering effects, if there any. Speculation presented as fact is still speculation.

However, he was shaky a lot of they with overthrowing guys, what do you attribute it to?

o Too amped up

Cam was 'wild high' early on and often when a QB is wild high they're too pumped

o I'm not sure when it started raining but it could have been a factor

(I was flipping back on forth between a bunch of games)

Look at the thread title genious. It's asking what you think made Cam not look good. EVERYONE here is speculating. You don't know if he was having just a rookie moment or if his foot was really bothering him either.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
