So bc u have been on this forum longer makes everyone else a rookie. That's makes little to no sense. So what y'all are saying is that bc u discuss topics and argue about what u think and your thoughts on this team makes u a veteran bc u have been here longer than him or me. Maybe that guy is the next bill bellicheck. Maybe he's the smartest gameplaner u have ever seen. U don't know. And for someone to say that u know more or that we're rookies is ignorant. If that's the case I have bigger nuts and they are old veterans and wrinkly.

Idk what I'm even arguing now

U are totally over reacting here bro... Read what I posted. It was a good link that he posted, but he himself said that he doesn't understand football (well the x's and o's of football)

I don't think I'm better than anybody because I've been here longer or swag or pi. I just enjoy talking about football. That's all.

So tone it down a lil bit...

I'm not overreacting. Im chill. It wasn't even aimed towards u. I was just saying just bc people been on this forum longer dosent mean they are football gods compared to us newbies. And I agree bro I like talking football and discussing it and I don't think I'm better than anyone. It just seems like everyone try's go one up on somebody or show someone up by displaying their genius football knowledge.

Personally I like it when people come on here and want to talk Xs and Os. Everyone starts somewhere so there is no problem if they don't know a lot to begin with. Frankly I like folks who come on here and admit they are no experts versus the ones who think or act they are but know very little.

May be it is me but I like Xs and Os discussions on a football forum a lot more than the typical GIF bomb threads that seem so prevalent.

the bolded is an overreaction.

no one is saying that.

the OP stated this...

I dont know a ton about Xs and Os, but I do enjoy trying to figure it out.
that implies being a newb more than his join date.

back on topic....i remember reading this a while back and thought it was a great introductory to the jim johnson defense.

one thing i saw that was spot on and that i love about it is this...

His defense is a zone-blitz style scheme that attempts to create the same kinds of mismatches that the LeBeau 3-4 tries to create.
given a couple relatively injury free years in the system with a solid commitment to it, this defense could be just as solid and respectable/feared.

    • Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. Start the day with Robert Hunt's family, be in the morning meetings, mic'd up players during practice (Jaycee, Rozeboom, Icky, and Bryce), roster evaluations by the staff, and plenty of camp highlights capping off with FanFest.   Processing Blue (Mike Kaye & Alex Zietlow Mike and Alex are back talking about a variety of topics including but not limited to: joint practice + preseason game vs. Houston, Trey Hendrickson trade rumors involving Carolina, training camp awards, draft pick draft, and various thoughts about the team.   Jordan & Jake 706: Opening Day Another in-house Panthers' production, the most recent episode of Jordan and Jake talk about how to properly balance intensity in practice, react to the starters being shutdown for the preseason finale, share their thoughts on the newest Panther QB, and more.   Raw Room - Ep 278 - Gas Pedal (ft. Mike Davis) Assistant special teams' coach Darren Bates' Raw Room podcast has former Panthers' RB Mike Davis on his weekly podcast. I'm about halfway through this one and it's been a lot of fun. The Raw Room guys (DB, his friend Alex Sweets, former Eagles/Chargers OT King Dunlap, and former Atlanta DB Jalen Collins) are hilarious and Mike fits right in. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect. If you don't care about how somebody talks, just what they're talking about, tune in!
    • Allen was borderline unplayable in College.  He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.
    • It's a step up in competition as well. The gap in athletic skill is narrowed from what was faced at the college level.
