Cam Newton apologizes through media to TE Greg Olsen. Newton wasn't pleased when Olsen tried to console him after loss.

Was not a major blowup or anything, but Newton said "that was the wrong thing to do."

Guessing Cam is tired of losing, which adds more fuel to the fire. But you don' wanna bring his confidence down.

Cam needs to learn how to be a team player. He's not the only one who lost out there. I think it's not confidence, but only pride. One of the reasons why we keep throwing is probably because of Newton's pride. As it is said, pride goes before destruction.

So, Olsen went to console Newton on the loss and Newton blows up at him and apologizes through the media...

Be a man and say it to his face.

Actually, it says he didn't blow up. Your reading comprehension has either been poor or selective recently. You're acting pretty big for a guy whose team has no realistic shot at the postseason this year.

Cam doesnt know what losing feels like til now. He hasnt lost no game before the panthers. Thats something panthers organization has to understand. Also on the flip side Cam needs to take in the advance from his team. I understand his frustration but together we stand divided we fall. Its alright to be mad but take that fuel in the right direction not towards teammates.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
