One this this team needs to do better is tackling. We are not very disciplined right now and thats really not a Rivera team. IDK what needs to give but something does cause fundamentals are losing games this year.

He didn't kill us like Hester did, but Randall Cobb gave GB some pretty good field position in that game. It didn't lose the game (defense always does), but it certainly needs to be fixed.

I agree with your point, but our defense hasn't given up as many yards as the offense produced yet. In every game our offense has gained more yards than the opponent's. Just gotta start turning those 3s into 7s

The special teams gave up a touchdown today so where did the other 27 points come from? No man our defense is costing us the game!

Well, one of the the 7 pts came off of a Cam pick six, a play that probably wouldn't have happened if we didn't have a mind fart holding penalty that made us start from right up against our goal line. Not saying the INT is on them, but it does take you out of your game plan when you have those type of mistakes

Lets see, another 7 pts came right after Hester ran the ball and pretty much scored if our kicker hadn't run him out of bounds. Now we send our bend but god don't break defense out there to defend 20 yards when we probably game planned for something a little closer to 80, again not all on them but here is another special teams play that put us at a disadvantage.

And finally the touchdown. Guys, I am no fool. I know that we have to play better, but we are already playing well enough to win football games with the amount of production we are getting on offense. My point isn't to make excuses, but its an area of the game that could help offense and defense. But it ain't helping at all. It's killing us actually.

Mare is terrible. That's why Mora Jr called him out in 09 for losing the Seahawks games. He said its bad when the guys in the trenches fight and claw all game to have a kicker miss a FG.

Anyhow, Cam played great for a rookie against a pretty good D who is missing All Pro Chris Harris. Cam exploited the D perfectly and hit some nice deep throws.

The Panthers pass D scared the Bears into rushing like that. Without the LBers to stop Forte it was a recipe for disaster. Had Beason and co played that wouldn't have happened.

Bothe teams have a lot of injuries, but the better offensive team lost. Offensive teams usually have a red carpet in the NFL. I bet CAR starts winning next week.
