1/4 Season done, Outlook for rest of the season?

If we get our run game going, I can see us getting to 8 wins. We dont realize how dangerous our offense will become once the run games is established.

If we keep trying to throw the ball 45+ times and ignoring our run game when its doing well like today, I see us winning 4 or 5 games.

It may be the best thing for this team to win 4-5 games this season, get another high pick, use it on a defender and continue to build a top defense to go along with a dangerous offense. Super Bowl contender in 2 seasons IMO.

9-7

We have a good team, gave the superbowl champs all they can handle.

Indy is not the same without Peyton, minnesota is inferior to us, our division games are all winnable. We matchup well against the skins. The Titans and lions look like our toughest foes outside of the division.

Plenty of season left, there's no quit in this team. No need to panic unless Cam gets injured

Shoot, if we can get some consistant D or ST play......we can win some a bunch of games still.

Throwing the ball like we have could of realistically gotten us to a 4-0 start with if the D and ST could limit giving up such HUGE plays. Not even quit giving up huge plays but quit giving up so many each game.

    • It depends on what version of bad we are getting. Can't have the locker room tearing apart over it.
    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
