How dumb are they to not know before the season that over 1/3 of our starting defense would be injured by the 4th week of the season which also may be a reason for the less than spectacular record. :rolleyes:

I got no excuses now. I think this team should win every game now. You can't do anything about injuries, and the defense has seen plenty of them. You just have to count on the next guy.

This defense is extremely weak, and it's kind of bend but don't break because of the limitations. But this group can make stops. They've made at least one key stop in every game.

The red-zone woes are just a matter of reps. That LaFell play in the back of the end zone is a perfect play call and throw, but you slip and you don't get to the spot in time means no play. But LaFell is turning in to a legit red-zone weapon, and I hope his development continues because he can be a big time play-maker in this offense with hope of becoming a top tier WR. He and Cam got something brewing.

Special Teams, you all know how I feel about that. You need talent on offense and defense to execute against some of the leagues best, but special teams really just comes down to coaching, and this unit is doing an extremely poor job, and they look to be very poorly coached. The jury is still out on this, but so far so bad for Brian Murphy's group. I may have been over the top by pretty much blaming them for the loses, its not like they are the only problem, but they are a big problem. If they don't play better I wouldn't be surprised if we see some pretty drastic changes in that department.

If, if, if, all day, but Cam is ready, and he is ready to win. It's time to start finding ways. There is no player in my opinion that is in a different league than he is. He is quickly developing into a truly elite player(he's not there yet, but he is getting there pretty quickly). I just hope we win before this guy completely loses it.

But this post is dead on. The hypocrisy of the huddle is overwhelming. We are losing games we shouldn't. End of story. The team isn't making excuses, the fanbase should follow suit.

Losing games you could win is frustrating but I'll take it over a blowout anyday. People are still pretty happy that the future looks brighter than it did last year.

Also many of these things you think are excuses are actually explainations, they are similar but not the same. There are always reasons why one team lost and another team won, Some people think they are excuses whenever someone tries to go deeper than "WE PLAYED LIKE FUGGING POO!:mad:"

this is a rebuilding season. if you think its a playoff one, you will be let down. this is a developmental year for our qb of the future. you can't expect a team that won two games last year to all of a sudden have its problem fixed by a few good additions.
