When will the Pink end???

Yeah I hate it. There is no sense in it. What good does it really do? If anything they could just put a pink ribbon stick on their helmets. I am so tired of seeing so much pink. It really is ridiculous.

1. All of the pink items worn are auctioned of with proceeds going to American Cancer Society

2. It serves as a yearly reminder for exams.

3. I feel awful for you having to endure looking at a color. How you harness the strength to continue every day is a testament to your personal struggle.

First off, breast cancer has hit my family directly so I have first hand experience dealing with this disease. While I understand the need for breast cancer awareness and that women need to be encouraged to have exams, I think the saddest part of all of this is that breast cancer has become big business. Companies now make money off this. Look up some of the breast cancer sweatshirts, they cost as much as UnderArmor.

Personally, I think that there already is a cure for cancer of all types but unfortunately, why would you want to make $1 for prevention when you can make $250000 for the "cure"

Pretty much.

Seems like kind of a silly thing to be bothered by.

October IS breast cancer awareness month. Men are also affected and can have it. It seems like a tragedy when there are MEN hating on the color used to signify the TATAS. Women are also fans of the NFL.

I am THRILLED the NFL recognizes the women behind the NFL, the mothers, sisters, daughters, and cousins behind the MEN.

I am also glad that my favorite sport takes the time to remind me that my TATAs are WORTH keeping and checking!

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
