So I would be a 0-5 type of coach? Instead of 1-4?

I'd hope he would aspire to be better than me at coaching, yet at best he is 1 game better than I could be at worst.

you are excruciating and you are now the first poster i have ever put on ignore. way to beat out saint j and therealdeal for the simian drivel award.

Stop being greedy

^ Its not about killer extinct. Packers nor Saints doesn't have that. They call the correct, COMMON SENSE plays. If something is working, they stay with it. If they need 1-2 yards they either run or throw short. More than likely run, if its working. Throwing deep with a ROOKIE QB when we have 2 pro bowl RB's isn't the correct call, period

Jordy Nelson says hey lol. Granted it wasn't a bomb on 3rd and short, but the Packers weren't exactly sitting there happy to run the clock out like pooposters on here are calling for.

We have thrown deep/end-zone passes at ridiculous times all year honestly, just usually has been in the red-zone when we abandon the run.

And when we do run it its always Cam. Its working so no one on here is complaining about it but if Cam was to get injured on one of these plays what do you think would happen? I'm fine with 90% of our play-calling between the 20's but we need to stop putting our only bright spot on ths lousy team in jeopardy when Stewart is a beast and perfect for those situations. I don't recall us lining up in a power I inside the 5 once all year.

You right, it wasn't a bomb. Thats a difference, and A.R isn't a rookie. Superbowl champ. They know these things better than us

Hypothetical situations and "if's" dont win ball games

If we ran the ball and got stopped, would you honestly sit there and say, why didn't you throw the ball ? No cause the running game was working, we have Stewart and we were known as a run team. We did the same thing against Chicago. Run game was working, they started to throw as we approached the red zone

Its the same situation with Cam at the 1 yard line. Chud still isn't rushing with our RB's. That needs to change. Saints not going to the 1 yard line and using Brees. Thats why you have a RB. Cam gets injured, then what?

didn't read the intire thread. so not sure if this has been mentioned, anyway. it's not the first time we have gone for the big play instead of the 1st down. It appears as though this is what we do now. personally, I like it.... even when it pisses me off

Well I actually don't really like the Newton up the middle runs. If they are going to do that I wish they would delay it more and wait for the middle to open up like they were actually going to pass the ball then have him take off.

Pretty sure the announcer called it a gutsy call all the same. And Cam HAS the ability to make that play, he just didn't that time. So let's not play the "herp derp he can't do that until he's a vet" card, because he's proved everyone wrong on that count about 100 times already.

I wouldn't, but a lot of other posters who have already decided Ron Rivera sucks and Jim Harbaugh is teh awesome would.

But but but that's working and I thought winning teams stuck with what worked! We've yet to NOT get into the endzone when we're that close by running Cam.

You've got to run it and put trust in your two great running backs or try something quick with a tight end. A play action would have been a better call here. I just don't think this was the right play call because it proves we have a "killer instinct".

Fact We had extra point blocked. An extra point!

Fact We called timeout at end of first half which gave NO time to kick a field goal.

Fact If the offense substitutes, the refs must hold up play in order to let the defense substitute. We would not have penalized for too many players on the field.

Fact We gave away 4 points. We lost by 3 points
