I think we blow the Falcons out on Sunday

Jesus no wonder there's a thread wanting to ban people from registering from other sites. We can't stop poo and atlanta is great at home. They had the same thing happen to them as did us with Green Bay. We can't stop the run. They have fat boy. This will be a shoot out and unfortunately we will find a way to lose. I hope we win, because it'll give us momentum on winning the next four before Detroit. It'll probably be a blocked field goal return TD this time and we lose by 6 points.

We need to come out throwing all over the field and get a 14-17 point lead by halftime. If we do that, they'll be forced to abandon the run game and we can get after their struggling OL and put Noodle Arm Ryan on his ass.

Their pass defense is terrible; I see no reason we can't absolutely torch them. Cam has the potential to go over 400 again and Smitty close to 200 receiving. If we can get that lead I mentioned, we can give the ball to double trouble in the 2nd half and ride them to a win.

I REALLY want this one. I've been spending some time on various Falcons forums and their fans are really ignorant as to what Cam has done so far. I even had one guy say all that needed to be done was to shadow Cam with a linebacker... yeah... a fuging linebacker, as if he's just making plays with his feet.

Plus, they're pretty down on their team right now. Calling for Mike Smith and their GM to be fired and for Matt Ryan to be traded because he's just a game manager and can't throw downfield. If we beat them - especially if we blow them out - the reaction of their fans would be fuging priceless.

Our run defense is to porous to say we will blow them out. If we win, and its a big if, it will be much like our past games have been, except that we eliminate the mistakes. In other words, we put about 30 or so points on the board, and hold them to around 27. We can win if we get better play in the red zone, better special teams play and we don't give them an early leg up with interceptions as we have done in the last two games.

Panthers need to stop giving points away...I'm too lazy to look it up but how many points have we given up to penalties? 21?...or pick 6's...or other teams's FG's that shouldn't have been kicked?

I have a feeling the panthers would be over 500 if they didn't give away half those points...

If we can just play a solid game and not give away the lead, the wins will start to pile up.

Honestly, it's time for the coaching staff to fix these things...and they will.

I predict us winning in a shoot-out. Turner ALWAYS plays good against us, and our run defense this year is softer than baby poo
if we come out quick and get up by a couple scores then turner is irrelevant. you don't run the ball when you are down on the scoreboard by a couple TDs.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
