Something positive from today's game

Legadu Naanee. No, he didn't turn into a Pro Bowl WR, or even a solid #2 really. But he did come up with two clutch 3rd down catches that weren't easy. And even though he got that holding penalty, at least it shows he was trying to block on the running play, which is an improvement. Gotta find something to be happy about.

Those that feel the need to pinpoint a certain player to blame for losses in order to justify their existence and explain to everyone "what happened" have moved on to other players this week. I think the personal attacks and general vehemence is an even split between Otah and Cam this week.

They have all forgotten how "worthless" Legedu is/was for now.

He actually made a few nice catches last week, but that doesn't forgive him not showing up for the first four games.

While Legadoo seems to be the strongest example, this team in general seems to lack that competitive edge. Win or lose, I'd like to see a bit more attitude, maybe someone cheap shot Smitty in the end zone again. The NO game was one of the few where to me the entire team had fight

I wonder if the Saints fans are attacking Brees for throwing three intereceptions yesterday and losing to the Bucs? And he's a season Vet...Shame on him..:D

We did allot right on offense and defense yesterday. Just had some bad luck and got exposed on a run play.

This game more than any other so far showed that we are on the rise, but are still young/inexperienced. That goes for everybody on the team, Cam included.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
