And if you think that people tempering unrealistic expectations with reason is a sign they are fine with losing, then you really don't have a clue. No one is happy we are losing, they simply are aware that building a winning team through the draft is a process. I would think that people who were around in the late nineties when we were first around, remember what we like when we tried to buy a championship with free agents. It worked in 1995 and 1996 and then everything came crashing down culminating in the 1-15 season in 2001.

We have decided on the course which is build through the draft, sign your core players and supplement where you can without giving up too much. We have done that and are sailing along for better or worse. If you don't like the journey or the destination then disembark anytime.

But mistaking football understanding for being fine with losing is beyond ridiculous.
