"We Stink, You Stink, I Stink" - Dolphins Edition

Reggie Bush was involved in what could have become a war of words in the Dolphins’ locker room this week when he said the team stinks

It started when Bush said “We stink” after the Dolphins’ 18-15 loss to the Broncos on Sunday. That didn’t sit well with Dolphins safety Yeremiah Bell, who turned the tables on Bush.

He stinks,” Bell said, according to Examiner.com. “That shouldn’t be said around this locker room. We know that we’re 0-6 and we’re not playing the best but at the same time there’s no need for that.”

I do stink,” Bush told the Palm Beach Post. “We all stink. When it comes to 0-6, everybody stinks. We’ve all, in some way, shape or form have not been good enough, and that’s what I meant with those comments. I don’t care if it’s the front-desk secretary — she ain’t doing a good enough job. Everybody’s in this thing together.”

I'll be taking the Andrew Luck Teaser (Dolphins, Colts, Rams to lose) every week. It should pay off more often than not.

For the record I dislike Bush a lot. He's more interested in being a celebrity than a football player. He should be thanking Sean Peyton for going out of his way to give him a job for so long.

You can say all you want about his play on the field but Bush is literally the first person on the field, the last one off at each and every practice.

He spends hours with the blocking sleds when everyone else is done, running routes, catching balls, running sprints, etc.

He wants to be a better player and that's all you can ask for. You can question many things about him, but his desire to be a good football player isn't one of them.

But did he dress up in a Halloween costume???!

Cam wants to be an icon and entertainer more than a football player.

Yes, that's why he has been praised as having a strong work ethic...he doesn't have a desire to become a better football player just an entertainer and an icon. Or so that he can steal more laptops.

    • In terms of enthusiasm at this exact juncture it's a 5 only because regular season football is back and we are 0-0 and there is the development of some key young players that I am very interested in seeing in regular season action. That brief high will probably be knocked down to 1 by October though.
    • I think the preseason performance has caused a "Meh" Cloud  to hover over the fan base.  I still have some interest and while I don't expect a lot of wins, I think there are other things I would like to see in terms of the team at least going in the right direction. On offense is Bryce the guy and is XL moving forward? Is the defense performing better with DB back Are the rookies and 2nd year players developing? That said, for me there is some intrigue but I don't think they will compete for a playoff spot.
    • Well just a few years ago they went to the playoffs and won a playoff game with Daniel Jones at QB. And while the Giants have been up and down at best since their last Super Bowl they have shown to be a more competent organization. While the Panthers haven't so much as sniffed the playoffs in nearly a decade. Logic would dictate that the Giants strategy has a high probability to be at least modestly successful. The Panthers? Eh.
