Is Jim Harbaugh that good?

Inherited one of the best defenses in the league.

Just had to get good play from the qb position to own their weak division.

He's a good coach, but also inherited a team that wasn't as bad as a lot of people said it was.

That is not the point genius.

The point is that their schedule is pretty cake, even more so because their division rivals have a combined total of four wins right now.

I have not mentioned anything about the Panthers. I wasn't making a comparison to our team, I was simply pointing out how easy their schedule is.

meh...

obviously schedule makes a difference, but Harbaugh turned that team around completely. They were pretty awful last year and he's got them fighting hard and winning games against most everyone they play. No, they aren't perfect, and maybe they aren't playing the top toughest teams in the world, but you don't get to 6-1 unless you're doing something right. Nobody needs to be impressed by them if they don't want to be, but they've won six of their seven games and lost the other by four points... I feel they've earned my respect.

A lot can change, but it's clear he is getting through to his players. He looks to be the best new coaching hire, but again, things can change quickly.
