How long could you go without internet?

I've noticed alot my friends, family and people here addicted to either social media or the internet and i was wondering if given the choice to give up the internet for one whole year could you do it?

I was in the navy for 8 years so going without the internet or television for long periods of time was the norm for me. When i got back from my last deployment everyone around me was looking at his or her cell phones every 5 mins just out of habit and it was kinda disturbing. I challenged my sister to stay off of facebook for one day for $50 and she failed after 30mins. What has the world come too.

My job requires internet access, so I definitely couldn't live long without it. Because the mortgage holder wants to get paid. :)

I could go a year but I would need 2 days to prep the pr0n drive so I dont have to go down to the sketchy pr0n store on Wilkinson after 2 weeks.
