Pilares doesn't have top-end speed, but he has excellent speed in the first 15 yards and, thanks to his RB experience, he is pretty good at picking his gaps. With better blocking he'll be a good return man

Considering our special teams never runs past the 20 yard line I'm sure he was winded. I actually thought he showed some deceptive speed on the run till he got tired.

I thought Pilares looked fast at hitting a hole and blasting through it. he did slow down near the end of it, but that was after he had pulled waaay away.

i think it was his weird arm flailing at the end of the run that mad it look slower then it seemed.

So far he's taken a smoke route(preseason) and a kickoff to the house. only one other guy on the team can do that.

Looked like he ran outta gas, and almost fell twice. I loved the reverse angle when the kicker tried to tackle him and the Craken came up and got him like 6 inches before he tried to make the play and he didnt even put his arms out.. so funny. I love turf snipers.

I remember thinking out loud after the KR "Do Detroit's special teams suck?" and then they show a shot of Danny Crossman on the sidelines. That would be yes.

Damn Huddlers, ya'll can't celebrate anything without hating. The man set a team record, and did something we hadn't seen since 2003, and all ya'll talk about is "he doesn't look fast..." who gives a damn how fast he looks so long as he scores TD's?

I have come to grips with the fact that the majority of you would rather bitch than celebrate any amount of success this team has, no matter how small or large.
