Thank You Chud...

we squeezed out a win against one of the worst teams the NFL has ever seen and it's his best called game?

if mare makes that FG and shockey doesn't fumble, the game isn't even close at all and we've got 30+ points...

he got our backs the ball, they made plays, Cam was efficient...

It's not his fault our defense makes the Donald Browns and Kevin Smiths of the world look like Adrian Peterson.

Chud has been running the ball more and more throughout the year. It shouldn't be a surprise this week as if you have watched the last few weeks, the Panthers are committing to the run much more.

Total runs/Runs by RBs:

vs Ari: 27/19

vs GB: 21/11

vs Jax: 28/21

vs Chi: 26/18

Avg: 25.5/17.25 (67.6% to RB), 40.75 passing attempts per game, about 38% of our plays per game were runs, 29.7% runs with RBs.

vs NO: 22/15

vs Atl: 26/19

vs Was: 37/26 (Smith: 1)

vs Min: 28/20 (Smith: 1)

Avg: 28.25/20 (70.8% to RB), 31 passing attempts per game, about 47% of our plays per game were runs, 39% runs with RBs

vs Ten: 19/12

vs Det: 26/18 (Smith: 1)

vs Ind: 36/25 (Smith: 1)

Avg: 27/18.3 (67.9% to RB), 35 passing attempts per game, about 43.5% of our plays per game were runs, 34% runs with RBs.

I dunno, kinda up and down really...

edit: Will work in pass attempts to show run/pass breakdowns.

Only 3 teams have scored less than 27 against the colts this year.

only 4 teams have scored more than 27 against them, and 1 of those scored 28... Another scores 62 (NO), 31 (ATL), and 34 (HOU).

On the other hand, we're the first team the Colts have scored more than 10 points against in a month. :(

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
