run game or pass game

Recommended Posts

I don't really understand why anybody sitting here with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart and an offensive line that is good at run blocking, with John Fox at the helm would even ask the question? Steve Smith, he'll get his. Moose, the same. But we are a run team, no doubt about it...

I just wish we had remembered that in the playoffs last year...

We finally have a run attack that kicks butt! Absolutely do not abandon that! But the passing yards and scores are there, too, IF Jake will ever learn to execute some basic fundamentals (good play action fakes to the backs, a 'strategic' pump fake here and there), but most of all, DO THE RECEIVER PROGRESSIONS. Use the TE the way Walls was utiilized back in the day, throw out a frew screen passes each game, including 1 or 2 to Smitty. We could have a DAMNED FINE offense if we would only employ a little imagination.

I don't care if we got Tom Brady tommorow. RUN THE FOOTBALL!!! Why? Because it works in the rain, snow, wind and rain. It works on field turf, natural grass and in domes. Plus you don't throw interceptions running the ball and Deangelo don't fumble.
