This isn't the first time Mare has been god awful(articles)

Wow. An NFL kicker converting 58% of his kicks when given a whole season as the starter???

That is just unbelievable... Well, wait... After watching him, no it's not.

People can talk sh*t about Hurney for Armanti, EB, whatever... But this was by far his worst move EVER. The guy had been in the NFL this long, with this kind of history, and you sign him to the contract we did because he can kickoff?

We always have needs, why not lose every season for a high draft pick?

Thanking Mare/Clausen logic is so fuging stupid I don't know where to begin and the fact it's spewed by this forum, more than after one losing season is disgusting. It's just fuging stupid mentality and should have no place among fans of the team.

That is something an opposing team would say as some patronizing poo after beating us, not something our own fans should actually be happy about. Morons.

You happy Mare missed cause we get a draft pick? Why? If he made it, we have a competent kicker and possibly won a game. Isn't winning and having players on a team who can actually do something more important than being rewarded for losing? Happy Clausen ended up sucking? Why? If he lit it up and turned out to be great we'd be a year ahead right now and probably a winning team. If he lit it up, we'd have our franchise guy a year ago...but according to you guys that would be bad. Doesn't make any sense and it's just fuging stupid.

For a fan it should be anyway. Stop hoping our players don't turn out or lose for stupid draft picks and for a bunch of hindsight bullshit that has no merit to begin with.

I'm surprised Jim Mora Jr didn't mention it when he missed that kick today. Wow

actually, after the miss Mora Jr. made a comment about Mare.....you could tell he was about to reference Mare's history in clutch moments and opted not to say what he initially started.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
