Deangelo Williams 2011 vs 2008

Yeah, I'm not sure either but given the context I think he meant Carolina's offer was better. Maybe.

Yeah I don't think so, I think he meant the opposite. He was trying to make the point that we shouldn't worry about the money because people just want to play here and he believes that DWill will restructure for less because of this. He then tried to use Johnson as an example of a player taking less money to play here.

Yeah, I remember that quote, but Trucatz was saying that the offer that Atlanta gave dwarfed the one that he got from Carolina, which is quite obviously false.

He meant Carolina's offer was bigger regardless of his wording

Here is a stat for you DWill haters.

DWill has goten a 20+ yard carry every 15.75 caries

JStew gets one every 38.33

DWill is more than twice as likely to break off 20 or more yards as Jstew is. That isnt to say either is better, they are simply different. The one thing that DWill brings to the table that JStew does not though is the ability to take it to the house at any given time. Both are awesome running backs and we as fans should appreciate what we have in them while we have it.

I have no problem with williams, he is still playing well... when they give him the ball.

that's my biggest problem with him. We gave the guy a ton of cash and we aren't even using him. It'd be one thing if he weren't producing when he's on the field, because he is, we just don't use him and stewart as much as we have in years past, because honestly we don't need to now that we have a legitimate passing attack as well.

This is the best non-Panthro post in this thread

Nope, I don't think he did.

Let it be known that my thread was merged, that's why this thread did a tailspin. Great job mods. My threads are known to suck. It's not fair to IRV to ruin his thread. Now on to Floppin

Hey floppin... How's that court case going with all those illegal drugs you so stupidly had sent to your house???

My point was that both DeAngelo and CJ will restructure their deals at some point.

CJ's offer from ATL did in Fact dwarf in the Amy offered compared to what we gave him. How you could take anything I said out of context is utterly ridiculous...

But then again, so is a drug dealer that gets drugs sent to his own house through the U.S. Postal service.

Why would Dwill and CJ restructure? The team has absolutely no leverage to force them into a voluntary pay reduction. No agent in the world is going to accept that. If they were such "nice guys" that they would take less pay to allow the team to sign other guys then they would have just agreed to a lesser contract to begin with.

You'll see.
