If Brees breaks Marino's record, does that put him in the HOF?

It's about a little thing called "class." It's something no one on that team has, including Brees. I'm clueless as to why people think he is so classy.

Hey man, I hate the Saints too... but it's pro football, not PeeWee league where you're teaching kids to play nice...

If you don't want them to score, stop them.

Professional or not, it still shows a lack of class on their part to continue throwing the ball up 22 with 5 minutes left in the game.

It might be a little more understandable if it was week 17, but they were throwing just to set a record while they had the spotlight on them. Classless.

Have to agree to disagree I guess.... but there were other considerations too. I'm sure Payton wanted to have the option to not play Brees next week if he wanted to. Get the record out of the way... but it doesn't hurt my feeling that you're calling the Saints classless...

I do think they have the dirtiest defense.

It was obvious towards the end of the game that they were trying to seal the win before they tried to break the record. If I were them I'd do the same thing. Have the option to sit Brees next week and break the record for a home crowd. It wasn't classless at all imo.

hurricane katrina ravaged new orleans so therefore, by the transitive property, everyone on the team is literally a saint.

seems to be the thought process of most people

They are still playing for the #2 seed. Brees wont sit.

If it was Brady and Belichick against us would you say the same thing?

Yep... and I hate those fugers with a passion... but it's pro football. They're not out there to make friends...

If it was the Panthers and they had a 48 point lead on the Pats, I'd want to pound them in the ground... score 48 more.
