Raiding Raiders roster?

With all the turnover going on in Oakland, I was thinking a new head coach might want to bring in his own players to fit his system. Therefore, there might be a few players Oakland might deem expendable. They have some great depth along the DL. Thoughts?

The one dude that I would want from OAK is McClain. He is better than the LBs from Bama that are coming out this year.

But I know it won't happen and I know you said DL.

Just not sure if they are really that much more expendable than any other DLman in the league.

McClain sounds like headcase

I just mentioned the DL bc they have good depth. But i'd be looking at the whole roster in general. McClain does sound like a headcase. He was also drafted recently so i'm not sure they would deal him. Lamarr Houston would be intriguing. Maybe Jacoby Ford as a returner? Seymour if they want to get rid of his contract.

My brothers a big time Raiders fan, so I've seen a couple of Raider games. From what I can tell, I would take McClain, Seymour, Branch as a FS instead of a SS in a heartbeat. My brother says that Branch is really good as a FS, but they play him as a SS for some odd reason. I would also take Wisnewski and Stanford Rout too haha

    • For a 3rd year QB? That flies with the Teppers and makes the HC and GM look like fools.  Their fear is evident. Their careers are tied to making it work, it's ehy they signed on here and they are professionals who knows what kind of a situation they could potentially have on their hands if they are not calculating about popping up Bryce. I call BS to that sir. It's why every QB after Bryce couldn't make any other rosters past a PS spot...at best
    • Not just Dalton.   But the only real young arm they would let be seen the past 2 years was a really a bad Jack Plummer.  Who was super weak even for that tier  Can’t convince me how weak they made the atmosphere around Young hasn’t been intentional.
    • Things of note: mentions he has six drops. Six. For all the people that don’t know what a drop is, he has six. That’s a long distance from the league leader at ten. (To be fair, pro football reference has him at seven, still not bad.  Plenty of others is that same range.  His drop % is 6.3, which is low.) Catchable ball success ratio: 83% which is great. Catchable being the key word.  Mentions his contested catch rate is low at 5/18 but that’ll get better I think when he can rely on muscle memory for routes, catches, etc and the game slows down for him
