Spags and Mike Nolan in the running for New Orleans and Atlanta DC Jobs

Nolan is a good hire, however thier defense needs help that the draft would have been able to provide.

They have no replacement for Abraham, which IMO (along with Spoon), make that defense go.

They also have some key defensive guys going to FA (Grimes, Decoud, Lofton...I think).

It will be interesting to see if they have the pieces in place to have a solid defense, or if Nolan is asked to build a mercedes out of hyundai parts

I suspect Atlanta will at least consider going to a 3-4 if they decide not to resign Abraham who is a free agent in 2012. Given he was their only pass rusher it would make sense if you go a different direction to move to a 3-4. Sure Nolan could run a 4-3 as well but I wouldn't be suprised if they explore moving to a 3-4.

Their D is in trouble.

They are close to the cap and have MANY Free Agents coming up.

(at least thats what I read somewhere)
