This should not come as a surprise, of course. This is the same “church” that pickets the funerals of soldiers killed in combat; has a headline on its website that reads “Thank God for 12 more dead troops. We are praying for 12,000 more”; planned to picket the funerals of children murdered or perished in a house fire; sent a letter of praise to Saddam Hussein; and said the attacks on 9-11 were God’s way of “smiting *** America“.

As with all their other abhorrent behavior, we’re quite certain God is very pleased to have His name attached to their latest planned endeavor.

I hear ya, but to me, it's not what they are saying, it's where they're choosing to say it. I think the people's families have the right to a funeral free of political/religious protest.
