From top to bottom I like it, but I'm just not sold on taking DL that high and in first two rounds.

I keep wondering why everyone is so quick to dismiss Hardy, but accept that either TD can come back and play or Senn can play a significant role in the LB corps which is easier to transition to than DT.

We also added 3 DT's last "offseason" and signed a slew during the season that actually played pretty well as we saw our run D get quite a bit better at the end of the season. Especially, since we have a big need at CB, S and OLB.

Lastly, just nitpicking, I can't see the Bengals trading up for Richardson when it's very likely he'll still be on the board at their original pick. I could, however, see someone trading up for a QB with the since there are so few in the draft with both Barkeley and Jones going back to school. Tannenhill could very well be this year's Ponder/Locker.

Here's to hoping we win the coin toss and pick in front of Miami. With new coach and Brandon Marshall dissing Moore, I think QB at least would be considered. Enough that someone might want to get in front of Miami.

I agree that Bengals can probably sit tight and get Richardson.

i don't think we need to spend a pick on a punter. there might be one, maybe two drafted. more likely just one, though.

there will be a couple just as good that could be found as udfas.

not sure how much it matters in the 7th round, though.

I don't want any Clemson defensive player after that beatdown by West Virginia. This is a unique mock, kind of outside the box. Yet, I'm going to have to say no to it overall. (I like Joe Adams, and that Norman kid looks to be a hidden gem) I give it a D+.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
