This campaign is about film makers promoting themselves.

They pay themselves well, spend millions traveling the world to make their movies and perform interviews, and in the end give only 31% of funds to their cause.

Where does much of that 31% go? To direct military support of the Ugandan government. Yes, a military dictatorship that has also committed atrocities against Ugandan citizens. That's awful you say? Why yes it is, but you know what's even worse? Kony doesn't even live in Uganda anymore!

They're supporting a military force that rapes and murders Africans to fight and capture a man that doesn't even live within that military's borders. :eek6:

The money the organization is raising is going to the Ugandan government, a corrupt government that supports death penalty for homosexuals among other things.

I'm not belittling people for supporting the cause, because I support it myself. I'm belittling those who...

1) Think US government/military intervention here is a good idea, because it clearly is not.

2) Think the money they're donating is ACTUALLY helping the cause against Kony, child soldiers, rape, etc.
