Sorry guys, but I would forget Claiborne. If he falls, yea!! I would love this:

Cleveland wants Tannehill so they trade up with us and give us #22 and #37. We draft Devon Still or Cox at #22. At 37 we draft DE Nick Perry. At 40 we draft CB Chase Minnefield.

Throw in an OLB, OT in the fourth and fifth, Devon Wylie and Russell Wilson, and we are done.

Possesses a tall, lean frame with a long set of arms and a lot of growth potential. Exhibits some natural width through his lower half and should be able to continue to fill out. Isn't a real natural bender though. Has a tough time sitting into his stance, staying low off the football and really keeping his base under him into contact. Doesn't eat up a ton of ground off the snap and lacks the first step burst to consistently be a threat to the corner. Uses his length well into contact and when on the edge showcases some coordination to jab with his inside hand and work a club/arm over in order to slip the block and get around the corner. However, isn't overly fluid when trying to turn the edge, gets upright and looks tighter, but uses his length well to make himself big and wrap. Gets upright as a bull rusher, showcases some natural power to his game, but exposes his frame and struggles to gain leverage. Drops his head into contact, but is routinely the higher man. Has the length and power to get away with it at the college level but will be stonewalled in the NFL. Isn't real sudden laterally and doesn't showcase a real quickness about his game when setting up a counter. Is upright, looks tighter and doesn't have much change of direction skills.

Plays upright vs. the run game as well, fails to consistently gain leverage and doesn't extend his arms well into contact. However, has the natural length to extend when engaged in order to create room for himself and shed. Showcases good range for his size off his frame in the run game and can chase off his frame and use his length to close in pursuit. Lacks ideal anchor ability, but because of his natural strength and length makes it tough for opposing blockers to stay engaged.

Missed time this season with a knee injury and will need to check out medically.

Impression: I love his size and length. But I worry about defensive lineman who play upright, lack a great get off burst and struggle to change directions. I don't see him as a big time pass rusher. But if he improves his pad level he could mature into a potential starting option.

LOOKS LIKE A RAW PLAYER WITH UPSIDE--PROBLEMS SEEM FIXABLE> I PREFER CAM from VA in the SAME PRICE RANGE>

Vinny Curry please. His game tape speaks for itself. Yes, he had a poor 40 time, but his 10 yard split was great. Which means he has the acceleration and quickness to get around the edge. 40 times are over-rated when looking at trench players. Curry is being looked at as a 100% DE now.. he won't be taken by a 3-4 team.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
    • This is the Buc's division to lose.  We come out on top only if the wheels come off if Tampa.  I agree we can be--and should be--better than the Saints and likely the Falcons.  A 9-8 season would be nice, but it isn't great.  It's mediocre and that something the Panthers haven't been in nearly a decade, but would be reason to celebrate.  Heck, the Steelers will likely fire Tomlin over a 9-8 season because they are tired of being mediocre.
    • First game was a awful stat line. 2nd DNP due to ankle Summer league doesn't help what hes bring, its dang near YMCA pickup game level.  I heavily question the type of player he is and his future was NOT, not not not what you use #4 pick on. Hornets got him on visit and still made the pick, they better hope he has some Larry legend in him. I maintain huge questions.
