Levi Brown cut from the Cardinals...

Would he be a good fit in Carolina? Jeff Otah is a huge question mark. Outside of Jordan Gross and Ryan Kalil, there isn't too much to be thrilled about. Byron Bell was serviceable, but Geoff Hangartner is a FA, Travelle Wharton is a potential cap casualty, and some unproven young guys behind them. Picking up a vet O-Lineman like this could be a cost-effective move. Don't know if he will be in the price range though, probably some more under the radar guys who could fill this role. I see him going to the Redskins personally.

He was an 18 million dollar cap hit this year, so yeah that was happening. He'll probably get a pretty big contract as I dont think there's anyone else great on the market (I guess mcneil will be cut too? I can't remember) and he's probably not worth it.

no he won't

he's that bad

That is pretty freaking bad. Are we certain the raiders, cowboys, and skins will be too cap strapped to give out a stupid contract?

It's known around the league that ever since Levi Brown came into the league he's tremendously failed to meet the expectations put on him as a future franchise left tackle. He's bad in both the run blocking and pass protecting phase of the game and he also has the stigma of coming from Arizona, whom everybody knows cannot produce a good fuging offensive lineman if the fate of the franchise depended on it.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
