Hello all. Long time Cowboys fan here checking out our two ex-Panther signings.

So are either one of them at least an average starter? Connor will be a situational player and depth BTW. Don't know beans about the G.

Connor had a lot of potential, so much so that there was a time a couple of years ago that we thought if Beason ever got hurt Connor would step in and we wouldn't miss a beat. Then Beason did get hurt and Connor stepped in, and well, we had the worst defensive year in the organizations history. Of course only so much of that can be put on Connor, but you see where I'm going with this at least.

connor belongs in a 3-4 so he will be better than he was here. He's a SILB all the way if the cowboy's system distinguishes between the two middle backers.

Connor is a good LB. Not as good as others, but not as bad as many in this thread are implying.

both are average backups at best. conner in particular is slow as molasses, so dont expect him to do anything in coverage.

Thanks for the replies. Connor is a backup here, depth, and a situational SILB/thumper. Lee is the SILB but he's not as physical as instinctive. Carter, the WILB, is uber athletic but we have no idea if he's a player yet. Sounds like we got a reasonable deal for a backup SILB.

Not sure what they want from him. My guess is competition and depth. Nagy should start at G and maybe even Kosier with at least one int OL drafted. We got burned last year with our depth.

Send us a center, too.

Is your OL going to be as good as usual? BTW, Cam is something else.
