Stewart and his read option work also aided Cam in setting NFL records on the ground. Goes back to why Chud thought Stewart was better....he saw the field more for a variety of reasons

Williams ran more read options, and ran it better, than Stewart. Saint Patty's day is putting a hurting on you huh?

this. they won't even be manly tears either. They would be full-on crying in the shower in the middle of the night tears.

He's my favorite player on the team. To think he's only worth a couple of draft picks to my team is going to be tough to swallow.

a couple of draft picks= potential. I like Stewart too but we wont be able to resign him next year so why not trade him now?

Stewart still has potential. I don't understand your point.

Re-signing him is not impossible, nor does anyone believe that.

No, not impossible. Unrealistic? yes. But since Stewart is a better running back, he will want a bigger contract than D-Will's. Can you imagine all that money going to one position?

Hurney needs to man up and admit he made a mistake. He fuged up and paid the wrong running back and will need to swallow the cap hit and money lost from cutting Deangelo. He needs to make sure we don't hold onto an old wash-up simply because it's cost effective.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like Hurney at all. Good luck with your future Stewart. We're gonna miss you.

    • I do wonder what Lemon's ceiling will be. I'm hoping it's not the type of pick we look back on and he's JSN level lol. But I wasn't really itching for a WR this year, I like Coker's trajectory
    • Lemon was a hard one to think we’d passed on but I’m not opposed to it if there was a better player available.   I just question how another o linemen was seen as the most impactful player we could get at 19.  I hate to say it but even an elite LT isn’t the missing piece for the offense’s struggles. Bryce limitations shouldn’t limit us from drafting anyone imo, that’s just not acceptable. I’m not mad at the wr room currently, it just requires a lot positive growth from xl, Coker, tmac and horn.    we’re in unison about the offense’s ceiling given the signal caller, with that being said and known, maybe invest some high draft capital into the side of the ball that’s been steadily improving with the least amount of investments.
    • I also saw that he played basketball in HS and his mom is a yoga instructor. I get the athleticism now. Bball players usually translate well to the NFL.
