At this point, the Panthers have even less motivation to trade Peppers. All the big FA's are signed and the draft is in less than 24 hours. If they were going to trade him for draft picks they would have done it by now so they could plan on how to use those picks.

I think the Panthers have made it clear from day 1 that they applied the tag for the purpose of keeping Peppers.

So far we have heard the eagles and Patriots are interested in trading for Peppers, now that's two teams with the picks to make a move and that can only jack the price up if we do indeed trade him. but if we trade Peppers expect a heavy DL draft for us, and maybe a CB at some point

You say that like its a bad thing. This whole D line could use a shot in the arm and some new blood could do that. You draft enough guys chances are one will turn out to be a good one.
