I agree with the poster. There is a place for those threads. If anything it's the Moderators fault. Don't know how many there are, but this content should be filtered. What's the point of having a 'Carolina Panthers' section if there's information about every other team on this section? Might as well make it 'NFL and Panthers'.

No, pretty sure it is an Admin that is to blame. Offseason means everything NFL. In August it will change back to only Panthers.

To be honest anything about the NFC South, is panthers news to me, they are our division rivals, therefore since it is the offseason, whatever is happening in the NFCS has to do with the Panthers, in some way or the other.

Look:

The Carolina Panthers sub-forum is the highest traffic area for this board. However, during the off-season there are less threads made about the Panthers. That means that the Carolina Panthers forum slows to a crawl and practically dies. That is obviously not good due to it being the main forum. The solution? Allow threads that would normally be placed in other forums to go here.

I also imagine there is less stress on the mods to filter the threads as there are less overall and thus less to clog up the main forum.
