So basically the curse folks believe if you're on the Madden cover you have to have an elite season (numbers-wise) with no time missed due to injury, plus a Superbowl victory in which you make several clutch plays and your teammates carry you off the field. Otherwise you're cursed. It's a wonder no one has lived up to these expectations.

There is NO curse. Its football injuries happen. Most who are injured are not on the cover of anything.
