Saints' Penalties Upheld

Looks like their appeal only bought them a few more days of being with the team, but Goodell has upheld his decision. Sean Payton's suspension begins on April 16, the same day their OTA's begin. Haha Love it!

Jason LaConfora just posted this to his Twitter...

Commish will consider mitigating the financial penalties against the individuals, and the Saints loss of '13 pick, if all act accordingly

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, C'MON!

Jason La Canfora (per Twitter)

If there is any confusion about Saints '13 2nd rnd pick, it could potentially be moved to a later round. They'll still lose some '13 pick.

Wow, thats BS! So not only do they dodge losing a 1st rd pick in '13, but the loss of their 2nd '13 pick could be moved to a later round?! Are you serious? Thats fugging stupid!

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
