The Carolina Panthers just signed QB Hunter Cantwell from Louisville. I love this signing and potentially think he can become something. Before last years draft Kiper had him ranked as the number 1 senior quarterback in the country. I am a pretty big Big East fan and follow Louisville closely, this kid was great under Petrino. They brought in there new coach and he went downhill with the rest of the team. We may have just ourselves a sleeper.

If Bobby Petrino had stayed at Louisville Cantwell would have been a 2nd round prospect just like Brohm. He was touted as having a better arm and just better overall ability than Brian Brohm. I love the signing as a FA...

However, I just checked Rotoworld and it isn't up yet so I'll need a link to believe it.

well since its always fun to root for a couple undrafted guys that in reality will be nothing more than a practice squad guys, this will be the guy that i hope and pray will turn into a quality player and eventual replacement for jake.

yes i know it will not happen. but having a couple underdogs to root for makes training camp more fun

yes i know it will not happen. but having a couple underdogs to root for makes training camp more fun

why not? two of our three current quarterbacks went undrafted.

      I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)

      There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.

      Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
