point what out? Your nonexistent point?

lol you think I don't know what you're doing? I've abused every single counter point you've made. Your doing nothing now but resorting to insults. This is over and you know it.

Can he play DT?

Rivera doesn't think that DT is a huge need, and I don't either. We have a big double-team-taking run stuffer in Edwards coming back from injury and some very young and promising talent to go along with him, plus whomever we have yet to draft and pick up from camp cuts. Calm down.

I am seriously fuging mind = blown at people doubting Hurney in the first round. if you want to question his drafting in rounds 2-7/draft day trades, sure. his cap management, fine. his free agency moves, again, understandable..

but look at the mans track record in the first round.. I seriously can't think of a GM in this league better at evaluating first round talent than Hurney. inb4 Davis/Otah.. can't predict injuries dipshiits.

not overall talent evaluation but adressing the most important positions

two 1st round running backs, 3 first round linebackers

and

no wrs, no dts, 1 de and 1 cb in 10 years

poor way to build a team. address bigger impact positions first, worry about lesser impact and easier to fill positions later in the draft or free agency

You have yet to make any relevant point, nice try. Other than trying to insinuate that Keuchly is only an Anderson replacement, which is beyond retarded.

Why is LB expendable now?

There is no surplus of talent at LB now. We have no depth there, players returning from consecutive injuries, a loss of someone who started a ton of games for us over the last few years... LB is now one of the weakest positions on the defense right now.

lol what? get out of here with that dude.

If you can't see the difference in talent level between LB and the other atrocious positions of need on defense then there's no hope for you.

Not to mention the fact that you're overvaluing the LB position again,.

Thats great, he probally will do well. Tackle machine, I get it. Wont change the game the same way an impact pass rusher could.

I am not entirely convinced DT in this scheme is primarily an impact pass rusher. Yes, that is a role - and hopefully one we can get filled - but it is possible that an excellent LB could really help this defense by completely changing the calls on the field. We didn't have the LBers to be aggressive last year. Now we may.

Most of our D-Line wouldn't make other teams, Captain had the most passes completed on him than any corner in the league. Easy position to get someone servicable, least impactful position other than saftey(Unless you have the top 3), and was not the weakest postition.

What would we do with Cox if Edwards recovers and our other DTs improve? What would we have done with Coples if hardy had a great training camp and exploded this year? what would we have done with Claiborne/Gilmore if Hogan ends up being a probowl CB?

Cox would have been in a rotaion with McClain. Coples would have rotated with Hardy. Hogan would have been a Pro bowl CB and MoGilmore would have been our slot CB.

I guess if we are playing the what ifs, I will say that IF Davis and Beason dont fully recover then Kuchee was the right choice. We will have two good LBs playing. IF they do recover we are using our first pick to ride the pine.

Yep. This is over. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to show everyone what a bogus choice this was though. In your quest to defend him, you contributed to his exposure.

Hogan will start over Captain regardless of whether we pick up another corner at all, and I expect we do.

Haha, if you say so. It's ok though, I don't blame you for bowing out, considering how feeble your argument was.
