we have fuging Cameron J. Newton as our quarterback. And that is the biggest draft pick in the history of this franchise.

It is Denver's John Elway, it is Indy's Peyton Manning, it is the Carolina Panther's.....

Greatest draft pick ever..

Watch this video, and I promise, whatever you feel about the draft... you will feel much better.

Not gonna lie the "Winning is contagious" part always gives me goosebumps and makes me want to go to the gym immediately and better myself. It makes me want to be a better boyfriend, son, student and person.

Can someone maybe post a list of users that despised the Cam pick so maybe I can link their names to the Silatolu hate-wagon?

If silatolu is so damn good how come not a damn single person has talked about him prior to the draft?? that's what gets me.

Um where have you been? I was actually pulling for us to draft him all day before the pick happened, I knew we would go O-line and he was the best available.

Silatolu is a very unique prospect who's been compared to Jason Allen, and San Francisco's former top 15 pick Mike Iupati. Go do some research and you will see that all of the people that matter, love him. Not nerdy users on a forum.

Huh?? you aren'y making any sense.. is what I said even wrong?? because nobody on this forum knew who he was before the draft.

Because that's a false statement.

A lot of scouts were trying very hard not to get the word out because they were hoping other teams would overlook him. Apparently we surprised the 49ers with this pick and they weren't happy.

    • Hey if they could beat Seattle… tiebreaker head to head over GB, LARms, Seattle… win out the record is 11-6.  Now rap my knuckles for suggesting we win out, but that would be some funny poo. Talk about sneaking up on people.
    • I expected 6 wins this season. I need to see the Panthers blow by that now that they exceeded it by 1. I like how Canales has schemed around the weaknesses on offense in the passing game. I am impressed with the receivers, run blocking, running back combo and secondary communication in zone. Defense and QB need more consistency. The improvement of the defensive play calling and critical 3rd down and 4Q passing when trailing is going to be what I am looking for going into the playoffs. If the Panthers can consistently regain the lead after trailing over the next 4 games, I can see them competing in the playoffs and worth a reevaluation of the last 2 seasons' weaknesses. This is the prove it or lose it moment in their Panthers careers for Young and Evero. No excuses.
    • He's on the smaller size for a center (5'8" 175lbs) and he is a bit of a liability in the faceoff circle. But, he's a proven 60 pt player with room to grow. I'd still rather go get TT from Buffalo. Rossi would be a great consolation prize, though.
