I've never had the privilege to meet a panthers player before. Even if I did have an opportunity I'd keep my distance for the reason that I believe that they might not want to be bothered.

That's actually a cool story. I went go karting once for a work function, and I did pretty well but I'm 225. I can see being so petite how you could haul ass around them corners.

It can work both ways. You could use your weight to help you turn. I however have no way to fight inertia thus.. making my steering and throttle/brake input that much more vital. It's more a head game than anything else.

I see panther players on a pretty regular basis and have rarley said a word (unprofessionally) to them, only when approached by them. Of corse, being my job I have to respect their personal space but personally I believe in doing my job first and also that people deserve their privacy. Like going to home depot and having them ask for your phone number and they give you a weird look if you say no. No one believes in privacy anymore and that is just me being irritated, I cannot imagine the bullshit these players probably get. It comes with the territory though and they'll tell you that. I never understood why poeple got exited to see them in real life, I get more exited when they are in pads on the field. Nothing wrong with wishing them luck, I am talking more about people crowding them and all, I've seen it first hand.

Whenever I do talk about a panther for some reason the Panthers aren't ever the topic. Some of those guys lives are very interesting in other aspects.
