What Is Gantt's Problem With James Anderson?

He's taken shots at him all through the year, saying that James is overrated and that Witherspoon was better etc. Wtf does he have against James? Does anyone remember if James pissed him off for him to act that way to him?

As overpaid as DeAngelo Williams might be, pales in comparison to paying 4.4m/year for a two-down linebacker. That deal keeps getting worse.

uh, sorry guys but James Anderson isn't all that and a bag of potato chips and Will Witherspoon was better, anyone arguing otherwise has some short term memory and a weird hard on for the man.

the reason James is over Paid is while he is a solid LB'er he excels nowhere, he's literally a dime a dozen player and nothing more.

James is a solid tackler, average in pass coverage, good run stopper and overall a good starting linebacker.

Don't see the problem in paying the guy 4.4 million.

in this league, it's pretty god damned easy to get the same ability for less money

    • At this point, I think Chubba is the odd man out. I hate that, but I think Dowdle gives us more production and big play ability.  But there is still a lot of football to play.  I think it depends on how much Dowdle will want too.
    • I’ve been anti-trade when it comes to Melo, but the way this season has started, it may be time.  I love his game and he’s a cool dude, but I’m starting to think, if he’s your best player, you’re never going to win anything of significance.  Too many brain farts, too many injuries, and ultimately for as fun and entertaining as he is to watch - his game is indeed a thing of beauty - it just doesn’t translate to wins.  And that’s IF he even plays.  I think it’s time to cash out and maximize the return.  I love Melo, but I think it’s pretty clear what the ceiling is for a team where he is the best player.
    • Every NFL team, college program, hell even HS has numerous "what ifs" that got derailed by injury. It's a brutal sport and half the battle is just getting lucky enough to stay healthy. Doesn't matter how durable you are and how well you take care of your body everyone is one weird hit or awkward twist away from a career derailing injury.
